LIVI FOR LIFE SUPPORTERS TRUST - MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
The primary aim of the Trust is gaining a shareholding in the club. As a member you have the opportunity to become a stake holder in Livingston Football Club. Members of 18 years and over receive one Trust share that entitles them to vote at Trust general meetings, AGM’s and elections. You will have opportunities to put your voice alongside fellow Trust members in seeking to help forge the future direction and success of Livingston Football club. Members receive regular newsletters and updates keeping you up to speed with developments in both Trust and football club.

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Eligible to join the Trust are all members of the community who are supporters or have an interest in the future of Livingston Football Club and agree to be bound by the Rules of the Trust. Constitution allows expulsion of members and the right to refuse applications.

COST OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership fees are one-off payments, giving Life Membership. Costs and categories (established at the Trust AGM 2006) are
Individual Full Membership £5 - entitling the holder to 1 vote and 1 share in the Trust.
Junior Membership £1 - for members aged 17 and under. There is no share and no vote with this membership option as company rules do not allow it but does entitle the holder to all other Trust benefits plus access to our junior member schemes and events.
Concessionary Membership £1 - the Trust will be following the same concessionary eligibility as Livingston football club use for season tickets. Membership entitles the holder to one vote and one share in the Trust.
Founder Membership £100 - From the Trust Launch date of 5th of September 2004 there were made available the special membership category of Founder Member. This category of Membership is now closed. The names of the Founder Members of the Trust will forever be enshrined in Trust history and documentation.
Corporate Membership £50 - £100 - The Trust is currently developing this category of membership in conjunction with West Lothian businesses. It is available to companies of all sizes wishing to support the Trust. In return the Trust will place the company logo on Trust promotional literature and will feature a link to the company’s website on the Trust website at www.liviforlife.co.uk, along with other benefits to be negotiated. Corporate Membership does not carry a share or vote in the Trust.

Every member will be provided with a numbered membership certificate, membership card and can receive a copy of the Trust’s Aims and Constitution on request.
Share Certificates - A numbered share certificate will be issued to each eligible member and can only be used by the member in accordance with the Trust rules. The share has no real monetary value with no right to interest, dividend or bonus. Shares cannot be sold, transferred or given to any other person whether they are a member or a non-member.
Membership cards – Each paid up member shall be issued with a numbered Trust membership card which will allow access to Trust General, Annual General, and Special meetings. In the case of Adult members aged 18 and over it will also be the mechanism by which eligibility to vote is recognised.

LOANS OF MONEY TO THE LFL TRUST
Loans of money can be made to the LIVIforLIFE Supporters Trust in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the Loan Capital Instrument Constituting Unsecured Loan Notes Issue (contact the Trust for details). You must be a Trust member and aged 18 or over to make a loan to the Trust.
DONATIONS OF MONEY TO THE LFL TRUST
Further donations can be made to the LFL Supporters Trust, over and above membership fees, in accordance with the aims and objectives of the Trust (contained within it’s rules) as the Trust Committee, in its sole discretion, shall see fit. These donations can be one-off payments or a regular monthly standing order.
