2007 - LFL TRUST ACQUIRE FIRST SHARES IN LIVI FC

shares

Vivien Kyles, assisted by Duncan Bennett, presents a share certificate to LFL Chair Donald Paul and Vice-Chair Ian McCulloch in 2007, in exchange for a donation of £12,000, at the final home game of the season.

The 12,000 shares represent a 1% shareholding in the club, a small but significant step forward for the Trust.

Following the 2007 agreement between Trust and Club to acquire a 1% shareholding in Livingston FC, our Shares Fund is needing replenished. The Trust will continue to build funds through fundraising, members contributions, donations and business sponsorships, and the new share purchasing amount will be updated here as the fund builds.

In addition to the £12,000 the Trust donated to Livi, we have also facilitated a further £19,950 through grant funding, and this has been invested in Youth development and community training programmes in West Lothian. The Trust will continue to pursue further grants and awards over the coming seasons.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Trust funds.

HELP THE LFL TRUST WITH FUNDRAISING

Aside from the grant funding available to us, LIVIforLIFE relies on membership monies, donations and fundraising as it’s main sources of funding. Administrations costs are minimised wherever possible in order to maximise the potential funds available for share purchasing. To date a number of fundraising and promotional events have taken place and more will happen over the coming years. We hope you will find these events and fundraisers enjoyable to take part in, and that you will continue to help the Trust through your contributions.

You’ll find information on forthcoming events and fundraisers by going to the EVENTS or the FUNDRAISERS pages.
